Certified Instructor Robert Boston

Bob Boston is one of only 36 certified instructors in Martial Blade Concepts/Counter Blade Concepts. CBC is an unarmed defense against weapons, using empty-hand tactics, the use of sticks, canes, and improvised weapons. MBC is an edged-weapon system specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s concerned citizen and armed professionals. MBC takes combat- proven tactics and adapts them to modern tools, threats, and legal concerns. These skills are integrated with each other and with principles of tactical awareness, avoidance, and de-escalation to provide a comprehensive, extremely adaptable approach to personal protection.

Aside from Martial Blade Concepts, Bob has been involved in Judo since 1975. He holds a 4th degree black belt in Judo, was a 2005 gold medal winner in the Judo Pan Am Masters Championship and is a certified Judo Self Defense trainer through the US Judo Federation.

Bob is also a level one instructor of #500Rising, an organization that delivers impactful education in women's proactive and responsive self-defense.
